But this year the “nation mourns as it recalls June 6, 1968” memorials of the 40th anniversary of the death of Robert Kennedy is particularly relentless on the blogs. I understand that it’s there are parallels between the personalities and messages of Kennedy and Obama and that people are having nostalgia, but seriously. Knock it off people. It’s depressing.
Hmmm. So Photobooth reverses everything. Or, it doesn’t. That’s odd. Anyway
– Happy Birthday, sweetheart!
(today’s photo of the day.)
Hey, it’s my wonderful girlfriend’s birthday!! Yay!
Go visit her site and tell her happy birthday. If you clicked on an ad or two while you were there, she’d get a few pennies. But only a few things — I don’t want her to get in trouble for click-fraud or anything. 🙂
You know what this means, right? The Birthday Alligator is coming.
Along with his friend the Domo Kun Kitty:
To leave you presents under your Birthday Tree. You did put one up, right?
Heck, look at all the interesting stuff planned for June 6th. Great.
Happy Birthday to me.
Happy Birthday to me.
Happy Birthday, dear me.
Happy Birthday to me.
In case I hadn’t mentioned it, today is my birthday.
Yesterday, I had someone come up to me and say “I recognize you from somewhere.” And after we went through a big list of places (work, college, high school, friends, etc.) it turns out he recognized me from my appearance on the morning news with Dick Wolfsie. I’m like, famous. In Indianapolis, Indiana. I think I’ll stop combing my hair and become disaffected, like all the other celebrities.
(2014 update: I’ve since realized it isn’t that hard to get on the local news, or that impressive. But I should let 2002 me have my moments, shouldn’t I?)
It’s my birthday, and Beth bought me new new comic book Fray by Joss Whedon, which is very cool. My co-workers took me out to dinner, despite my persistent grumpiness, and I got fortune cookie and free dessert. Doug called to wish me Happy Birthday. Very cool.
