Fantastic Salon article on the future of the internet and technology. Basically the same thing that was said in a really great book published back in 1999, Digital Darwinism. The book pointed out, during the height of the internet boom, the simply throwing money at any internet business was doomed to fail; that only businesses with solid business plans and real e-commerce goals would survive. People will buy things off the internet… but only certain things. And the internet is still more about ideas and communication than it is about business.

That’s one advantage about seeing the live feeds for Big Brother 3… you get to hear all the really good Amy Crews quotes that didn’t make it to the TV show. God damn that girl is funny. Now I wish she had been a little more diplomatic about dealing with the couples alliance, maybe she could have stayed. I hope she comes back.

So, today is the first day of my new physical fitness program. So far so good.

We got our family photos done this weekend. Next weekend my sister is moving back to England.

The last Fever game of the regular season was last night, and we signed up to get season tickets for next years games. We’re also going to look into getting tickets for the Indiana Speed, our Professional Women’s Football team.

I just finished updating all of my photo galleries: both the regular gallery , and the house photos. I finished the thumbnail pages so you can see all the photos in a section at once, then click for the large photo. I was a bit behind (6 months) on doing that!
UPDATE: I later took these photos down because someone used them to locate my house and stalk me, sadly.

Here’s a hip new trend I won’t be participating in: The Sexchart. Basically a map of everyone you’ve had sex with, and everyone they’ve had sex with, and so on. Why won’t I? I have a pretty good idea of what mine would look like. And it’d get me in a lot of trouble.

Ended up taking Wednesday, part of Thursday and Friday off work, and I also laid around in bed all day Saturday, too with a stuffy head/runny nose/sore throat. Yikes. Thursday night was the single women’s dinner at Rock Bottom — met a bunch of nice women. And the Fever won again on Saturday night. Very cool. I bought a McCarty jersey.
