A first-hand account of the rant that Tracy Morgan went into at a comedy show. Really upsetting to hear, and it certainly gives me pause about watching 30 Rock anymore.

"Truth Wins Out is alarmed at allegations that well-known comedian Tracy Morgan departed from his usual stand-up routine to unleash an anti-gay tirade during his June 3 performance at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Eyewitness Kevin Rogers, who attended with his partner and a friend, gives a firsthand account which describes how Morgan’s entire demeanor changed as he allegedly claimed that being gay is a choice, that homosexuality is something that kids learn from the media, and that gay youth victims of bullying are simply “whining.” Furthermore, he allegedly said that if his son was gay and “whined” about being a bullying victim, he would kill him, using words that will not be repeated here."

Because they're asking the wrong people, maybe? This isn't rocket science. Well, I guess it actually IS, but fortunately for me, I'm a rocket scientist, so I can tell you – yes, it's there. And I can show it to you. Grab a torch and follow me, we're going in… All joking aside though, this is an interesting article on the complete lack of scientific research on this subject.

I'm a pretty key "connector/maven" for lgbt stuff in Indy, and somehow I missed out on this happening, which means they could use a different approach to their marketing, I think.

Instead of competing on horses, as is typically the case, contestants were asked to trot around the arena with stick horses as their show ponies." Hysterical! There's video, too.
