Bread Pudding

From the kitchen of: Arline Groenwoldt.

  • loaf bread, 1 pound
  • 3 eggs
  • enough milk to make sloppy
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • raisins (optional)

Bake 350 degrees until knife comes out clean. (25 to 30 minutes)

Lemon Sauce

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon or 2 corn starch
  • juice of two lemons
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Cook all except nutmeg, let cool, add nutmeg.
