I think most people I know would get behind this one.

Until the project was hastily killed yesterday; Pentagon bureaucrats were busily building a new Web site where we could all invest in the future of terrorism. Their “Policy Analysis Market” (funded by the Bush White House and thought up by criminal John Pointdexter) would have encouraged betting on the likelihood of assassinations, mass murders and other unnatural disasters. The Pentagon called its latest idea a new way of predicting events and part of its search for the “broadest possible set of new ways to prevent terrorist attacks.”
Gregory Johnson and his friend Brandie Coleman were killed and left in an SUV set on fire in the 6700 block of Fall Creek Parkway, North Drive. Johnson, they say, was a sweet and funny young man who liked to dress as a woman, fooling his dates. They suspect one of them became enraged upon learning the truth and killed Johnson and his female friend.
They were murdered by Paul Moore and Curtis Ward, and they enlisted Paul’s half-brother, Clarence McGee to help cover up their deaths.
What’s scary is that this article in the Indianapolis Star seems to blame Nireah, not the killers, for her death. Just because you’re upset that someone fooled you does not give you the right to kill them and their friends.

Here’s the message I sent to Borders at this website URL:
“I have a question about something I read online at this website:

“According to this article, a woman who criticized George Bush was banned from the Fredericksburg Virginia store. Is this true? I spent over $1,000 at Borders last year. I hate George Bush. I’ve said much worse about him than just that he “has chicken legs.” I think he’s a moron and he’s trashing our country. Will I be banned from your stores? Is this an official policy? Is the manager of the Fredericksburg store going to be directed to apologize to Julia Rose for violating her right to free speech? I won’t be spending another cent of my money in any of your stores until I hear from you regarding this matter….”
for this week, courtesy of Democratic Underground. Highlights this week: relatives of 9-11 casualties are upset by the report on 9-11 failures; specifically on what was left out to cover the ass of the Bush Administration. Also Condoleeza Rice keeps contradicting herself, and Bush descrates the American Flag. And a woman who said she didn’t like Bush’s “chicken legs” got banned from Borders Bookstore. Interesting. Since I spent over $1,000 at Borders last year, and I’ve called Bush every name there is. I think I’ll be writing to tell them that.
At a weekend pep rally in Washington, a thousand college Republicans clap, cheer and party — and reveal a troubling dark side. And I quote: “How am I a closet Democrat? I’m racist, I love guns and I hate welfare.” And that’s not the worst of their commentary; read the complete article for some truly frightening shit coming from the next generation.
“But the idea of being forced to contribute to a broader civic good makes him livid. Taxes, he insisted, should be abolished. Who, then, will build things like roads? “Coca Cola should be building roads just to get exposure,” Sibeni said.”
According to the Washington Post: “Col. David Hogg, commander of the 2nd Brigade of the 4th Infantry Division, said tougher methods are being used to gather the intelligence. On Wednesday night, he said, his troops picked up the wife and daughter of an Iraqi lieutenant general. They left a note: “If you want your family released, turn yourself in.” Such tactics are justified, he said, because, “It’s an intelligence operation with detainees, and these people have info.” They would have been released in due course, he added later.”
