I did a Google search of this and all I was able to find were postings in various blogs. Apparently the story originally appeared in the Waco Tribune, but they pulled their online story.
But even more interesting is that all of the blog stories about this are from August or September of this year — yet, I also found a blog story about this from April 13, 2006! Here is the link: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/mixture-bill-nye-booed-waco/
Why did it apparently take 16 months for others to hook up on this story, or did someone back-date the story in ocellated.com?
I think I’ll try to contact Bill Nye (a hero of mine) and find out when and if this happened. Wil
Sorry to harp on this, but I just found another link — to an interview Bill Nye did on April 7, 2006 with on the Keith Olbermann show on MSNBC in with he said he didn’t think he was heckled, but a few people did leave. Basically, he blames the media for blowing it out of proportion. Here’s the link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12252465/
Thanks for giving me something to do this morning. Wil
