Arizona Trip Day 2: Meteor Crater, Twin Arrows Trading Post and Montezuma’s Castle cave dwellings.

Pretty big hole in the ground. Formed 50,000 years ago when a 150 foot-long meteor hit the ground. The crater is 3/4 miles across.

We’re headed out to see Meteor Crater and some other Indian Ruins today.

This weekend, we traded in the Smart Car for a new VW Rabbit. There was a lot of soul-searching involved, but we decided it was the right thing to do.

One of my co-workers got cardboard cut-outs of Obama and McCain for his birthday.

We test-drove a scion xD among other things, while looking for a replacement for the Smart Car that just wasn’t working for us.
