People were writing similar prescient words before the Iraq invasion; if we had listened to them, we might not be in the dire situation we are now.

Louisiana Town Bans Saggy Pants

It’s a shame they’re making this illegal really….

(AP) – It soon will be a crime in this Cajun-country town to let the waistband of your pants sag too low in public. Mayor Carol Broussard has said he will sign an ordinance the town council approved this week setting penalties of up to six months in jail and a $500 fine for being caught in pants that show undergarments or certain parts of the body.

because it might encourage people to do it more. I understand the symbolism of this styly, and I acknowledge that these punishments of what people are wearing are completely racist. But it looks ridiculous.
