The view from my window at work. BRRRRRR. I hate leaving the house in cold weather. When does spring roll around? Oh, wait, we have a lot to do before then. Like prepping for our trip to England. We’re taking my mom to see my sister and her kids. Should be fun. Dunno how I’d do the photo a day project there; I’ll have to work something out.

D’oh! I forgot to take a photo.

But this is why it’s about setting a goal, not making a resolution — I’m not going to make it a habit if I stop now that I’ve blown the perfect record. (And so early in the game, too!)

I spend a good chunk of the day getting stuff done around the house this January 3rd, and in the process, I forgot to grab the camera. On cold days, I tend to do the nesting thing where I stay indoors and putter around the house doing laundry and watching HGTV, and that doesn’t lend itself to getting pictures taken.
Indoors = low light = not always the prettiest pictures.

Well, upward and onward – I’ll nail it tomorrow.

Anti-choice protesters (forced birth advocates) outside my neighbor’s house on New Year’s Day. My neighbor works for Planned Parenthood. Yeah, in our residential neighborhood. In front of my house. MF assholes. They spent an hour shouting obnoxious statements and disturbing the peace.
