In the IT’S STARTING ALREADY Department — a congressman who heads a homeland security subcommittee said on a radio call-in program that he agreed with the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II and suggests that such interment for Arab-Americans may occur in the future. I don’t know about you, but as a gay person, I’m looking over some survivalist programs. Because if they come to lock me up, which is becoming a more realistic threat every day, I’m going to be ready for them.
I’ve always thought Camille Paglia was a brilliant woman. Even if she does say so herself. 🙂 But she truly demonstrates it in this Salon Interview about Bush and the war with Iraq. Clear thinking, logical process… I love her. Probably as much as she loves herself.

What did I do this weekend — mostly shopping. I didn’t get too much done around the house. I did get a large chunk of stuff done for my dad’s website. And Kathy and I got to spend time together, which is important to me. But I need to get working on the living room so I get most stuff done before it gets too hot outside.
