In October of 2004, Stephanie and I drove to Luray, Virginia for NBeast, the New Beetle East car show. Luray is in central Shenandoah Valley in northwest Virginia, in the Appalachian Range between the Allegheny and Blue Ridge Mountains. The show was held in the parking lot of one of the local tourist atttractions: The Luray Caverns, a U.S. Natural Landmark and the largest and most popular cave in Eastern America, featuring the world's only Stalacpipe Organ. Outside the caverns is a large topiary maze, and an antique car museum. Stephanie and I took some time to go through the maze and the caverns, but didn't get a chance to go through the car museum. On the way home we stopped off with some of the other Beetle owners at Dinosaur Landin Winchester, Virginia.

More dinosaur land photos, and then took off for home, stopping in Cumberland Maryland to visite Stephanie's friend BJ on the way. We took I-68 west instead of the Pennsylvania turnpike on the way back.
