    Just wanted to point out that although the whole “I am” v. “I do” thing is funny, the shortest sentence in the English language is actually “Go”.

    um… sorry to burst your bubble rachel, but it turns out go has an understood (you)at the beginning because it is an imperative sentence… as in “(You) Go.” so in that case “I am” would still be the shortest sentence…yeahhh… nice comment though :)
